The Sewing Sisterhood

So i am blessed to be a part of a group of fantastic and creative ladies known as 'The Sewing Sisterhood'. After the numerous national and international disasters we decided that we needed to do something to give back, so we created various dolls, from the Lil Miss Dolls pattern, which were graciously allowed to use by  the designer Katrina. So right now until tomorrow 9pm AESDT on Oz Handmade  the Sewing Sisterhood Dolls are all available and the proceeds of the sale are going to the Premier's Relief Fund.

Being part of the Sisterhood also means being a part of TSS blog :)- and each week we are doing 'Meet the Maker' this week is me so if you would like to know what inspires me to create pop on over and have a looksie.

Each day these ladies inspire me with their creativeness and their bussinesses, and i am glad that i am a part of such a supportive group.

My very first blog :)

Ok so i have taken the plunge and thought i would give this 'blogging' a go. Clearly for someone that is as tech savvy as me is freaking out a little, but i am also kinda excited at the same time.
My aim for this blog is to give you updates of special moments both in my personal life and bussiness venture.

Last year i was very fortunate to see into the world my beautiful daughter, and while on Maternity leave started checking out the cutest fabrics that were out there. Of course i started to buy them and before i knew it i have the greatest fabric stash :), so i thought i should bring others joy with the funky fabrics i find and thus my small bussiness "Crambster Creations" was born. I must thank my sister here because she gave me an extra push to get it started in time for people to 'Christmas shop' and my husband for giving me time to sew, as my launch coincided with my daughter being 3mths and our wedding only two days after my Grand Opening.

Clearly i had so much fun esp. picking the fabrics that it has grown from there. With monthly stockings on facebook and this year launching into markets such as NQ babies and kids markets and My Family markets, things are definately starting to take off.

Take care
